From the desk of Executive Director
Nepal is one of the most beautiful countries in the world having diverse geographic, ethnic, religious, cultural and most importantly  natural beauty gifted by the mother nature. These features have turned out to be both benefits and detriments to the Nepalese society because even though the country is geographically and culturally rich, the people here are still lagging behind in education and development due to their norms, values, cultures and geographical layout. With the combined efforts of me and my friends, we established Kathmandu Training Center in July 2002 with the aim of training and educating people especially from the backward society so that they can contribute something for the development and welfare of the country. In context of country like ours, development is very important. Though there are many approaches in this matter, strategies may differ. If we adopt the measures used by other countries regarding the development that would just be an extension, but what we need is a strategy that would benefit Nepal in the process of development in a sustainable way.
In our journey of 10 years, we have worked whole heartedly to produce social mobilizers and other technical human
resource and we proudly say that our alumni are working well in different projects, NGOs and INGOs across 34 districts
of the country. This would not have been possible without the help and assistance of various organizations and institutions.
Therefore, I would like to give my sincere gratitude to my friends, institutions and organizations that have supported us for
all these years, all the graduates of KTC and all the organizations who have given a opportunity to our graduates to pursue
their professional career.
We dream of seeing Nepal as one of the developed and peaceful countries of the world through the employment of people
who are skillful, knowledgeable and independent in different fields and we long for “Progress with Perpetuity” so I
would like to request Government bodies, other organizations, trusts, individuals and institutions to support us to help
achieve our dream.

Thanking you,

KTC Executive Director
Raj Bahadur Giri
