I am Kalpana Ghale from Chautara, Sindupalchwok currently working as facilitator of Children Peace Council at Bikalpa Gyan Tatha Bikas Kendra. I had immense interest in social works but didn’t know much about that. Meanwhile, my neighbor sister shared about this opportunity and my interest to do social works led me here as 15 month Social Mobilization Training 12^th Batch at Kathmandu Training Centre.

I offer my sincere gratitude to Kathmandu Training Center for the opportunities provided. Before joining this Social Mobilization Course, I was shy and lacked confidence.  It was difficult for me to connect to people easily.  As I lacked confidence to stand in front of huge mass, I couldn’t conduct programs well although I was eager to do so.

Plenty of Social Mobilization Training and activities had been conducted to groom ourselves. The team belonged to different districts such that we could exchange our knowledge and culture. This was the opportunity to listen to others and share our learning too. The learning environment groomed us well.

After the completion of the training, positive changes incurred within me in terms of confidence, teamwork, networking and communication skills and conducting well organized programs. I feel privileged to be a part of this outstanding training and request others to join this training too. Be inspired and inspire others.
